Gabriel Transport Ltd. treats personal data confidentially, uses it only in connection with the use of Gabriel Transport Ltd. services and takes all security, technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security of the data.

 

Scope and principles of the Code

The application of this policy applies to the business partners of Gabriel Transport Ltd.

Gabriel Transport Ltd. processes your data fairly and lawfully in accordance with the Hungarian legislation in force and Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR).

The data processing of Gabriel Transport Ltd. is always based on the voluntary consent of the data subject, and the data is not transmitted to unauthorised persons or made public.

 

Legal background

In developing our Privacy Policy, we have taken into account the applicable laws in force and the main international recommendations, in particular the following:

Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information (InfoTv.), and industry rules, recommendations and Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the General Data Protection Regulation.

The Infotv. 5§ (1): your personal data may be processed if.

   (b) the data subject consents

According to § 3 of the Infotv:

Personal data: data which can be associated with a data subject, in particular the name, the identification mark of the data subject and one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity, and the inference that can be drawn from the data concerning the data subject;

Consent: a voluntary and explicit indication of the data subject’s wishes, based on adequate information, by which he or she gives his or her unambiguous consent to the processing of personal data relating to him or her, whether in full or in part;

Controller: the natural or legal person or unincorporated body that determines the purposes for which the data are processed, takes and executes decisions regarding the processing (including the means used) or has them executed by a processor on its behalf;

Data processing: any operation or set of operations which is performed on data, regardless of the procedure used, in particular collection, recording, recording, organisation, storage, alteration, use, consultation, disclosure, transmission, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure and destruction, as well as the prevention of further use of data. Processing also includes the taking of photographs, audio or video recordings and the recording of physical characteristics that can be used to identify a person (e.g. fingerprints, palm prints, DNA samples, iris scans);

The legal bases for our processing are:

(a) the user’s voluntary informed consent to the processing of personal data pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (hereinafter: Consent);

(b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the User, as data subject, is a party, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

(c) the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR

(d) processing is necessary for the purposes of the interests of the controller or of a third party pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR

Data deletion: rendering data unrecognisable in such a way that it is no longer possible to recover it; data deletion takes place after the inactivity period determined by Gabriel Transport Ltd. according to the following rules:

Deletion of partner data: the partner will be blocked if he/she does not show inactivity towards our company for 5 years.

 

Data processing: the performance of technical tasks related to data processing operations, regardless of the method and means used to carry out the operations and the place of application;

Data processor: a natural or legal person or unincorporated body that processes personal data on behalf of the controller;

Data management

Gabriel Transport Ltd. informs its partners that the provision of data is voluntary.

The partner voluntarily and expressly agrees that the personal data provided may be disclosed and fully processed by Gabriel Transport Ltd. without any compensation or authorisation, used for its own marketing and advertising activities, and information, newsletters and publications may be sent to the contact details provided.

The personal data included in the database will be used exclusively for the marketing and advertising purposes of Gabriel Transport Kft. and will not be disclosed to third parties. Upon request, Gabriel Transport Ltd. will correct the data, terminate the data processing, delete the personal data from its system and suspend the sending of advertising material.

Data security

The data is stored on the servers of Gabriel Transport Ltd.

Remedies

You may at any time request information about the processing of your personal data, request their rectification or – with the exception of data processing required by law – their erasure.

Upon request, Gabriel Transport Kft. shall provide detailed information about the data processed by it or by a processor it has appointed, the source of the data, the purpose, legal basis and duration of the processing, the name and address of the processor and the activities related to the processing.

Legal remedies and complaints may be lodged with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, whose registered office is at Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/c, 1024 Budapest (http://www.naih.hu).
