Liftback trucks

In the haulage industry, there are relatively few trucks with tail lifts, and sometimes it can be a challenge to find a vehicle with a tail lift, although in many cases they are indispensable.
Most of our trucks weighing between 7.5 and 18 tonnes are equipped with a tail-lift, with a tarpaulin or a box.
In case you haven’t heard of a tail lift, we’ll tell you exactly what it does:
-significantly speeds up loading and unloading, which would often be impossible in the absence of a back wall in a loading bay.
-assists in placing goods on the ramp in some loading bays and lowering them to ground level in others.
-sometimes goods are transferred from a vehicle with a tail lift to another vehicle with a tail lift.
-A truck like this is also a great help when moving house, as you don’t have to fit giant sofas on the platform, for example.
Care is also needed when fitting the rear wall, as we have to officially certify that the rear wall is compatible with the vehicle and check that it is working properly and safely before the roadworthiness test. In addition to this, drivers must also have a tail lift test. Taking all the above into account, maintaining and operating such a vehicle is a more complex task than one might first think.
